We had gone nearly two years without doing much weeding on our property. The Devonshire crew was able to clear out several truckloads of weeds and get our front and back yards looking even better than when we bought the house! They were quick, mindful, and always very friendly and professional. We can’t recommend them enough for your yard care needs, they are truly experts!

Devonshire upgraded our back yard that is entered from under a back deck. Everything is new except the tree on the left, the largest tree at the fence and the large bush near the center. Irrigation, lighting and steel banded round patios are also new. The steel bands also define the walkways and river rock "moat" that captures rain that falls from the deck for a waterfall effect. The layout, drainage, irrigation and lighting was all done as part of the design. We couldn't be happier. The team was easy to work with and the few modifications (such as type of stone on the walkways) were easy to modify on the fly. Access to the area is restricted by a designer metal fence and ramp that made removal and delivery of materials difficult, but Devonshire was super careful not to do damage to the special paint job. We really enjoyed working with the entire team and now use them for upkeep of this and the front yard of the house.

You can believe these five-star reviews. Devonshire has helped us twice - years apart and at different homes - refresh our neglected yard with fantastic service! They make the contractor experience painless. The first time they helped me refresh the planting strip/tiny yard outside my townhouse prior to selling. They quoted the work correctly, did the work when they said they would, it looked great...and the house sold! :) Fast forward about eight years, and they again provided the same professional service to help us rehab our entire yard after a construction project and us not being the best at yard maintenance. Aside from our shiny, new addition, it was embarrassing. They understood our ideas and took some additional steps to ensure things really look great. The after photos are included here. Notes: we are reseeding the backyard in the coming weeks. This is showing how they removed the weeds and prepared the soil for seeding. They also built the small retaining wall in the front, which we have yet to seed with wildflower. Based on my previous experience, I knew it would be quality work...but we were blown away by the extra attention to detail (e.g., the edging, refreshing the drainage rock, etc.)! They also provided some great advice to yard care noobs, recommended follow-up weedings to take care of weeds that had not yet sprouted, AND they were ready to step in to help complete the construction project when my other contractor wasn't adhering to the terms of the contract. It was a very touchy situation that ended-up resolving itself due to having Devonshire as a backup. In the future, I'm going to Devonshire first! I'm currently working with them on options for ongoing maintenance to ensure our yard doesn't fall into sad shape again. You live, you learn. :) I would highly recommend using Devonshire!

We have lived in our home for over 25 years. As we have grown older our ability to navigate our 100+ year old steps has become increasingly more difficult. It was time to replace them. We got so many outrageous bids from pushy salespeople, so we gave up for a while. Then we saw Devonshire’s ad in the WS blog. Rick came out to see our project. He heard our concerns and ideas, and offered us great advice. We came up with an elegant and practical solution. The crew was experienced, hard working and friendly. Rick and his team made every detail exactly right. We couldn’t be happier with the result. We already have more projects in the queue!

The team prepared a strip of property for privacy hedge planting and did a wonderful job. They will be the first at the table when we begin bidding out our backyard refresh within the next year or two. Prompt, communicative, and priced competitively for the quality of work. Well done!
